Account information: login details you provide when creating an account (this may change as we move to social/third-party login options).

Chat messages: content you send to other users through CosmoFriend's chat feature.

Vibes posts: any comments or posts you submit in the Vibes section.

Payment information: if you subscribe to premium features, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details ourselves — Stripe handles this in line with its own privacy policy and security standards.

Basic technical data: standard information such as device type and general usage data that most websites collect automatically to keep the site running securely.

To match you with other users based on zodiac compatibility.

To generate your natal chart and readings.

To enable chat between users.

To process and manage premium subscriptions.

To send you occasional updates or announcements from the CosmoFriend team within the app.

To keep CosmoFriend secure and functioning properly.

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with:

Stripe, to process subscription payments.

Other CosmoFriend users, limited to what you choose to share via chat or Vibes posts, and the profile information (e.g. zodiac sign) needed for matching.

Law enforcement or authorities, only if we are legally required to.

CosmoFriend is based in the UK, but our users are located worldwide. By using CosmoFriend, you understand that your information may be processed and stored in the UK or other countries where our service providers operate.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information (such as passwords or financial details) with other users through chat.
